Students can avail the school transport subject to the availability of seats. The parents should consult the school transport incharge for the bus routes and other necessary details.

BUS RULES

• The bus facility once opted for, has to be continued throughout the year. The bus facility, in special cases, can be discontinued or changed with prior permission of the school authorities with the next quarterly payment.
• All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival of the bus.
• The bus will not wait for late comers.
• Students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
• No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
• All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their buses. No student should travel standing on the foot – board.
• The front door of the bus is the only authorised entrance and exit.
• The drivers are authorised to stop the bus at the designated stops only, or as directed by the teacher on bus duty. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and incase of necessity to change the stop, transport incharge or school authority can be approached.
• When the bus is moving, students must not move around in the bus or expose their heads or arms outside the window.
• Students will be held responsible for any damage to the buses caused by them.
• Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside buses is not permitted.
• Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
• Students must not distract the driver’s attention.
• The teachers on bus duty and student bus – monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal without delay.
• The student should not use any other means of transport for commuting to school if he / she is availing school transport. In case of exigency, if he / she is not doing so, permission should be sought from the concerned authority and the teacher on bus duty should be duly informed.
• Any form of indiscipline in the bus will lead to withdrawal of the facility.
• All buses are fitted with the GPS System& Camera and all activities happening in the bus are monitored and action is taken accordingly.
• No student will be allowed to discontinue school bus service after the month of December. However, a clear calendar month’s notice or a month’s fee in lieu of notice should be given in case school bus service withdrawal is requested before the month of December. Fee will be charged for all 12 months. A parent, who withdraws the transport facility before the vacations and rejoins after the vacations, may not be given the transport service facility. The transport fee is payable along with the school fee.
